1: to drink an excessive number of shots rapidly in order to be as drunk as your peers.

1: This is when a sporting event ends and they start catching you up on what had happen during the game.

1: 'DVD catch-up' is when, while recording a game or other TV event on your DVR, you start watching the recording from the beginning - and as you come to the ads, timeouts, etc., you fast-forward through them, thus slowly catching-up on the event in real time.

  * e.g.,  ... Uncle Tony is so good at DVR catch-up, he usually syncs up with real-time just after the final ad.

1: the act of catching up with someone you haven't seen in a while, reminiscing, etc. whilst enjoying a tall frosty one. also, the act of catching up to someone who has had more drinks than you; either because you got there late or because you've been nursing.

  * e.g.,  ... man i haven't seen you in years. let's grab a beer, we got some catching up to brew. damn you've got serious beerability, i got some catching up to brew. 

 [ "catch-up sex" ]

1: Sexual intercourse engaged in to make up for having missed opportunities for sex. The missed sex could be due to your partner traveling, or being too busy, or having a fight. This is different than make-up sex. With make-up sex there is one sex act which accomplishes the goal. With catch-up sex you have to compensate for all the sex you missed having.

  * e.g.,  ... Wife: That was really good sex.
